I'll answer all your burning questions!

Programmes are either delivered purely online, which makes them easily accessible wherever you are based; or if you live locally enough to the St Albans Hertfordshire area, a more hybrid service is offered which is mainly online but also includes face-to-face personal training sessions.

Programmes typically last 16 weeks, occasionally 12 depending on client goals and their starting point. The aim is that you will either achieve your ideal weight and desired level of health by the end of the programme or, if your journey needs more time, you will be able to carry on independently or, require a much-reduced level of support.

Personal training is included but this only makes up a piece of the puzzle. If you are keen to lose weight, and build lifelong habits, focusing on exercise alone is not the best method to maximise results. This is why Sustainable Change also concentrates on client nutrition, mindset and lifestyle. This more holistic approach has been found to get much better life changing results.

If you are someone who struggles with their weight and health, what maximises results is a highly personalised service. This typically means that programmes work best when done on an individual basis. There may, however, be scope to combine certain services as a group of 2. Whether this is possible would be considered on an individual enquiry basis during a discovery call.

If you live locally to the St Albans Hertfordshire area, face-to-face PT sessions typically take place at my studio where I have all the free weights and other equipment you would typically find in a gym. Availability to do home visits is unlikely unless you live in St Albans and are available to do sessions at either 6am or 6:30am.

If you are someone who thinks they are strapped for time, I can certainly tailor a programme to fit into an already busy schedule which you can realistically stick to. The fact that programmes are either all or mostly online certainly makes them more time efficient.

However, when people say they do not have enough time, this is often more to do with what is more of a priority. If you are thinking you do not have enough time to focus on your weight and health, maybe you are not ready to embark on a programme like this?

If you are thinking maybe it is not a good time to commit to a programme because you have too many other commitments, I have two arguments against this:

  • If you are waiting for that perfect time to start, when everything else in your life is more in order, that time will likely never come.
  • If you can get a handle on your weight and health during a particularly busy period, this will make you unstoppable at maintaining your results long term.

The honest answer to this question is how long is a piece of string? This depends on so many variables such as your starting point, the challenges you face, how consistently you can follow the programme, your genetic make up, current levels of fitness and personality type for example.

Clients typically report feeling fitter, healthier and more energised straight away. In terms of more tangible results such as how long it takes to lose pounds, inches or put on muscle, this would need to be considered on an individual basis during a discovery call.

I firmly believe Sustainable Change Coaching programmes are bullet proof, but only on the condition that participants apply honesty and effort:

  • Honesty: Lifelong success will eventually happen once there has been some initial trial and error: Making mistakes, learning and trying again. No one is expecting you to be perfect. However, it is crucial that you are open and transparent with me and most importantly yourself about everything that is going on. As your coach, if I am not kept in the loop, I cannot use my knowledge and expertise to steer you in the right direction. If you choose to ignore or not address certain challenges, it is unlikely that you will achieve your goals.
  • Effort: Part of my job as your coach is to help you find your unique winning formula that will get the results you want in the most straightforward way possible. However, this does not mean that I am going to save you from the situation you are in. If you want to change, this will require effort on your part. If my desire for you to succeed is greater than yours, the programme is unlikely to work. If you are unable to apply consistency to the process because there are frequently other things in your life that take more of a priority, it is likely you will struggle to get the results you want. To achieve lifelong success, there must be a willingness to make a change.

To ensure lifelong results are achieved, Sustainable Change Coaching Programmes are highly personalised to each person. Therefore, exact costings are considered on an individual basis during the consultation process.
