Change can be challenging. If you’ve tried to lose weight, improve your health, or break long-standing habits, you know how difficult it can be. When Doesn’t the Program Work?

You may be wondering, “What’s the catch?” The truth is, there’s no magic solution when it comes to sustainable weight loss and long-term health improvements. I firmly believe that Sustainable Change Coaching is a bulletproof method, but only when you bring both honesty and effort into the equation.

So, when doesn’t the program work? Quite simply, when these two vital components are missing.

Honesty: The Foundation for Change

Let’s start with honesty. Lifelong success in weight management and health doesn’t come from perfection; it comes from learning through trial and error. Finding your unique winning formula for weight loss – through how you eat, drink, exercise and live your life – is key to creating long-term health changes.

Mistakes are part of the journey, and that’s okay. What’s most important is that you are open and transparent, both with me as your health coach and, more importantly, with yourself. When you’re not upfront about the challenges you’re facing or when you choose to ignore them, it’s almost impossible to move forward.

As your coach, I need to know what’s happening to help you course-correct. Whether it’s a struggle with consistency, dealing with emotional eating or feeling stuck, staying honest ensures we can address the real issues. Without honesty, you’re not fully confronting the reality of your situation, and that’s where progress can grind to a halt.

Effort: Your Path to Success

The second critical piece is effort. I’m here to help you find a strategy that works for your specific life, goals and challenges. But here’s the truth: I can’t do the work for you. Real, lasting change requires effort on your part. If my desire for your success is greater than yours, we’re going to face some roadblocks.

Consistency is essential. If you’re unable to apply consistent effort to your health and weight loss goals because other aspects of your life keep taking priority, you’re unlikely to see the results you want. Sustainable weight loss and lasting health improvements don’t happen overnight, and they certainly don’t happen without a commitment to put in the necessary work over time.

What’s the Catch?

There’s no catch – just the truth. This program only works if you’re willing to be honest with yourself and apply real effort. Sustainable change is possible, and with the right support, you can achieve it. But it all starts with a decision: Are you ready to make that decision today?
